Maiden colts awards Dec 21

The first ever awards to celebrate and honour soccer players who started from the colts level will be held on December 21 at the Coconut Groove Hotel in Accra from 6p.m to 10p.m.

The event, dubbed “Ghana National Juvenile Colts Soccer Award and Documentary”, will also showcase a power point presentation of a documentary video titled “ Reviving Colts Soccer in Ghana”.

According to the organisers, Passion For Mission (PFM) Media Network, who are working in conjunction with La-Danso Foundation, the objective is to raise awareness of the declining state of colts soccer after 82 years in Ghana.

Some awardees will include former colts players who made their way into the Black Stars and colt administrators who contributed to the development of colts football in the 80s and 90s.
