Medeama lose again

After their shocking elimination from the MTN FA Cup, Medeama SC have again been handed another defeat when they lost 0-1 to Berekum Chelsea yesterday in their outstanding  Premier League encounter at the Golden City Park.

 The only goal of the match was scored by Nicholas Opoku in the seventh minute  of the game. The win moved Chelsea to the third position with Medeama dropping to the 13th position on the log.

Evans Adotey took charge of  the  team  as head coach as Tom Strand, who is being linked to a coaching job at Kumasi Asante Kotoko, did not travel with the team.

Malik Akowuah was adjudged the man-of-the-match after the game.
