Teshie Methodist win Easter Games

The Teshie Local Council of Churches Easter Monday games, hosted by the EP Church, Teshie, was held at the Bethlehem Presby Church grounds, Tsui Bleoo, Teshie, with the Methodist Church, led by Ernest Barnor, bagging 18 points to emerge the overall winners.

Presby Church failed to defend the title when they came second, a point behind the winners.

E. P. Church came third with 10 points, while the Anglican Church came fourth with two points.

In the children’s competition, the Methodist Church came first with 12 points, while the Presby and Anglican churches bagged nine points to place second with  the E. P. Church placing third with six points.

The men’s final football match between the Methodist Church and the E. P. Church failed to produce a winner and a new date for a replay is expected to be announced by the organisers.
