MTN FA Cup kicks off today
Beginning today, Divisions One and Two clubs will battle for places in the next stage of the 2014/2015 MTN FA Cup, with Alhaji’s Gruzah’s King Faisal clashing with Samosa FC in a thrilling derby at the Wesley College the afternoon.
Another top liner of this afternoon will be the regional derby between Bofoakwa Tano and Berlin FC at the Sunyani Coronation Park.

At the Tamale Academy Field, Utrecht play host to Tumu Happy Stars, 77 Stars host Toende United in Wa, Bolga Man City clash with Bolga All Stars at the Bolga Park, Guan United versus Gmantambu Nationals at the Tamale Stadium and Glory Stars versus Rockets FC also at the Tamale Stadium.
Japekrom Mposuasomah welcome Sunyani Liberty Youth at Japekrom, Adehyie Stars face Gold Stars at OWASS Park, Cornerstone FC versus TwinCity FC at the Baba Yara Stadium, Achikem FC versus Dunkwa United at New Edubiase, Oswaka FC versus Elmina Sharks at the Winneba Sports College, New York FC versus Deportivo at Half Assini and Wassaman versus Proud United at Dompim.
Tomorrow’s matches are; Wa African United versus Tamale All Stars at the Wa Stadium, Paga Crocodile Stars versus Galaxy FC at Bolga Park, RTU versus Mighty Rocks at the Tamale Stadium, Reformers versus Prof. Quarm FC in Sunyani, Kantinkyiren United versus AC Milan at the Baba Yara Stadium and, Vimabe FC versus Tarkwa United.
The preliminary round matches will continue on Friday and end on Sunday.
