The couple shared the joyous news on Instagram, with Lyles, a two-time Olympic medalist, posting a behind-the-scenes video of the proposal and writing, "To My Future Wife I Will Love You Forever 💍."

The heartfelt post featured photos of Lyles kneeling in front of a large heart display with a "Will you marry me?" sign, capturing the emotional moment.

Both athletes competed at the 2024 Paris Olympics, where Lyles, 27, secured a gold medal in the men’s 100-metre race and a bronze in the 200-metre final. Bromfield, 26, who represents Jamaica, didn’t medal in Paris but previously won bronze in the women’s 4x400-metre relay at the 2020 Tokyo Games.

Following the Paris Games, Lyles publicly expressed admiration for Bromfield on Instagram, calling her a "survivor" and praising her remarkable achievements as a two-time Olympian and multi-world championship medalist.

The couple, both prominent figures in the world of athletics, are now preparing for their next big race—down the aisle.
