The Inspector General of Police (IGP), Mr John Kudalor, lauded the gallantry of the women who beat the Lusaka Sharks 4 -1 and Sharkia of Egypt 6-1.

He also praised the male and female volleyball teams of both males who had often contributed players to the national teams.

“It is also on record that the service regularly contributes the bulk of its players to sporting disciplines such as hockey, basketball, handball, and volleyball”, he stated.

Mr Kudalor said the police administration had put in place measures to ensure that policemen and women who exhibited exemplary performances were appreciated and rewarded while those who displayed acts of misconduct were disciplined.
