Sensational Latif Blessing crowned Ghana Premier League best player
Liberty Professionals winger Latif Blessing has been crowned the Best Footballer of the 2015/16 Ghana Premier League season.
Blessing pipped Medeama SC free-kick specialist Kwesi Donsu and Dreams FC captain Abdul Bashiru to the top prize of the ceremony held at the Banquet Hall of the State House on Friday night in Accra.
He was also presented with the Goal King award for emerging top scorer of the season after netting 17 goals.
The Defender of the Year award went to Inusah Musah of Hearts of Oak who shockingly edged Player of the Year nominee Bashiru and Kotoko skipper Amos Frimpong despite only featuring dominantly in only the second round of the season for the Phobians.

Richard Ofori of WA All Stars won the Best Goalkeeper award after keeping the posts for his side during their title triumph while his coach Enos Adepa claimed the Coach of the Year honour.
All Stars CEO, Oduro Nyarko also clinched the Best CEO of the season to cap a trio of awards for the league champions.
Inter-Allies youngster Abdul Halik Halidu was named the most promising player of the season after aiding his team to escape relegation.
Former PLB boss, Welbeck Abrah-Appiah was also presented with a special award for his contributions to the development of the Ghanaian league.
