While the teams will have their eyes on the top prize, most of the players will aim to put their best foot forward to catch the attention of international football scouts expected to grace the two-day competition, which they hope will be a life-changing opportunity for them.

The Ahenfo Peace and Love Cup, organised by Legionary Soccer Academy Ghana under the leadership of its CEO, Bright John Nyarko, serves a dual purpose as a competitive tournament and a talent scouting ground, where top scouts are expected to closely monitor the players, seeking standout performers to potentially recruit for future endeavors.

The competition will recognize outstanding contributions with prizes awarded to the top four teams and individual players, including accolades such as Goal-King, Best Goalkeeper, and Best Player.

The competition gets underway on Thursday morning with a clash between Legionary Academy and Mfantseman United FC to be followed immediately by a face-off between Onyansa Academy and Nsakina FC.
