uniBank Mastercards for Stars
uniBank Ghana Limited last week presented to the Black Stars players MasterCards which will allow them to have access to their allowances and bonuses electronically.

The MasterCards were given to the team before their departure for Holland.
The gesture is to enable the Stars to transact business with their uniBank account from anywhere in the world, as well as safeguard their money as they travel around.
Presenting the cards to the team, Mr Owusu-Ansah Awere, an Executive Director of uniBank, said with the cards, the players need not worry about the safety of their bonuses.
“Arrangements have been made for all monies due you to be paid into this account which you can access anywhere in the world. So there will be no need to worry about somebody breaking into your rooms to take away your cash as had happened in the past.
“As your official bankers, we are not only supporting you, but we are also securing your interest,” Mr Awere told the Stars.
Captain Asamoah Gyan, who received the cards on behalf of the team, expressed the team’s appreciation to uniBank for showing interest in their welfare.
“You have indeed made things convenient for us as we do not have to worry about travelling around with large sums of money.”
