Cesc Fabregas will arrive in Monaco today to finalise his move from Chelsea.

The Spanish World Cup winner is jetting off to the south of France after bidding an emotional farewell to the Blues and the Premier League yesterday.

Fabregas left the Stamford Bridge pitch in tears on Saturday after playing his final game for Chelsea.

The 31-year-old will now reunite with former Arsenal team-mate Thierry Henry in Ligue 1 after ironing out the final details of his switch this afternoon.

It was a bittersweet farewell for the Premier League veteran as he captained Chelsea against Forest on Saturday and missed a penalty in his final game at Stamford Bridge.

Luckily for Fabregas, the Blues won the FA Cup third round clash 2-0 after a brace from heavily-criticised countryman Alvaro Morata - although he did have a contender for miss of the season.
