WBA title chance for Commey Feb 12

Ghana’s world title prospect, Raymond Commey, has secured a chance to annex the World Boxing Authority (WBA) International super bantamweight title.

Commey takes on Jun Qiu Xiao in a bout scheduled for February 12 at the Olympic Park Lunch, Zhou, China.

Information gathered by the GNA Sports indicated that the chances of the Ghanaian towards the world title would be enhanced if he defeated Xiao.

Commey, has 15 fights with two losses to his credit, while Qiu Xiao has 21 wins with two losses.

He is expected to leave Ghana next week and return on February 14 and has promised to make Ghana proud by winning the title even though he concedes the Chinese would be a tough customer.

“I know he will be tough but I have what it takes to beat him at his own back yard”, Commey told the GNA Sports.
