Zamalek settle Junior Agogo debt in order to avoid point deduction
Egyptian giants Zamalek have paid-off their former Ghanaian striker Manuel Junior Agogo in order to avert a six-point deduction. World football governing body, FIFA, two months ago ordered the White Knights to pay fan favourite Agogo €557,000 or face the point deduction.
Zamalek who are currently placed fourth in the Egyptian league have now settled the debt and will avoid the points ban.

Agogo, 37, in 2008 moved from Nottingham Forest to Al Ahly in a deal reportedly worth £1 million.
He initially wore the number 19 jersey for El Zamalek but switched to number 9 following Amr Zaki's departure on loan to English side Wigan Athletic.
The relationship between player and club turned sour nine months later and Agogo ended the contarct over unpaid salaries and moved to Apollon Limassol in Cyprus.
He reported Zamalek to FIFA and sought redress from the Court of Arbitration for Sport which ordered the club to pay Agogo 807‚000 Euros.
Zamalek chairman Mortada Mansour claims they have already paid Agogo €250‚000.
