Africa Prosperity Dialogues Breakfast Meetings set for January 30
The Africa Prosperity Network (APN) has announced that the third edition of its flagship event, the Africa Prosperity Dialogues (APD) 2025, will take place from January 30 to February 1, 2025, at the Accra International Conference Centre in Ghana.
Themed “Delivering Africa’s Single Market through Infrastructure: Invest. Connect. Integrate,” the event will begin with a series of breakfast meetings on 30th January. These sessions, starting at 8:30 a.m., are set to address critical areas such as trade, technology, finance, and entrepreneurship, laying the foundation for meaningful discussions during the main conference.
Mr. Sidig Faroug El Toum, the newly appointed Chief Executive Officer of APN, highlighted the importance of the breakfast meetings, saying, “The layout of the breakfast meetings reflects the private sector’s leadership in initiating the dialogues, ultimately owning and driving AfCFTA’s single-market agenda. It also speaks to current opportunities for industry actors, including young and women entrepreneurs across the continent.”
Participants can look forward to a diverse range of sessions, including discussions led by prominent organisations such as the Ghana Chamber of Young Entrepreneurs, Shelter Afrique Development Bank, and the Pan-African Payment and Settlement System.
“These breakfast meetings set the stage for impactful discussions on trade and economic integration,” noted Mrs. Tonisha Tagoe, APN’s International Relations and Trade Liaison.
