Aya Top-Tech clinches top industrial steel award at Ghana Trade and Commerce Awards

Accra-based steel fabrication firm Aya Top-Tech & Fabrication Ltd. has been honoured with the Excellence in Industrial Steel and Fabrication and Construction Services Award at the third edition of the Ghana Trade and Commerce Awards.

The recognition highlights the company’s role in delivering end-to-end steel fabrication services, spanning design, fabrication and installation, to both public and private sector clients across Ghana.

Organised by the Business Executive Group, the awards scheme celebrates individuals and corporate entities that have made significant contributions to trade and commerce in the country. Aya Top-Tech’s award, organisers said, reflects its growing footprint in industrial steel solutions and its commitment to quality management and timely project execution.

The company provides engineering support to clients seeking cost-effective and structurally sound solutions, tackling complex projects that range from warehouses and shopping malls to multi-storey buildings, bridges, silos and skyscrapers. Its portfolio also includes the fabrication of industrial machines, trailers and dumpers, as well as prefabricated offices and accommodation units.

Speaking after receiving the award, the Chief Executive Officer, Hassan Assani, described the recognition as validation of the company’s steady expansion and industry standards.

"This honour authenticates our continuous growth and contribution to the Ghanaian economy. The award reflects our unwavering focus on meeting and exceeding customer expectations while adhering to rigorous quality standards."

He expressed appreciation to the company’s clients for what he termed their loyalty and confidence in Aya Top-Tech’s services.

Beyond structural steel works, the company’s operations extend to the fabrication of stainless steel tanks, pipes, ducts and chutes, maintenance and machining services, sandwich panels and roofing sheets, pallet racking systems and scaffolding equipment. It also undertakes steel fabrication for the telecommunications sector, produces flatbed trailers and tankers, installs security doors and gates, and carries out electrical works including panel installation and solar systems.

Aya Top-Tech additionally engages in power tools trading, tyre and battery sales, and operates a car maintenance workshop offering general repairs and specialised services.

With a production capacity of 70 tonnes per month and a workforce of more than 150 employees, the Ghana-based firm says it adheres to stringent safety protocols and applies American and international construction codes in its operations.

The award comes at a time when Ghana’s construction and industrial sectors are witnessing renewed activity, positioning local fabrication companies to play a central role in infrastructure expansion and industrial development.
