Bosch committed to mining and construction sectors

BOSCH, a well-known international brand, has indicated its commitment to partner local industries to provide business solutions in Ghana’s mining and construction sectors.

In a media engagement ahead of a VIP market event in Accra, the Regional Sales Director, Power Tools, responsible for West and Central Africa, Mr Benjamin Ofori, said the company was focused on strengthening its relationship with its local partners.

“Bosch Ghana has geared a full business offering for the construction, mining and related industries to meet their needs which include a wide variety of power tools such as measuring, drilling, cutting and grinding to name a few,” he stated.

“In addition, these are supported with a wide range of accessories for construction, woodworking and metalworking industries, delivering high-quality performance and optimal efficiency for industries, thereby fulfilling the needs of the developing economy,” he added.

VIP market event

Mr Ofori said the VIP market event was aimed at showcasing and introducing a range of professional power tools with targeted demonstrations to clients.

He added that that underlay its commitment to building sustainable business relationships with customers, increasing awareness of its solutions and products, as well as building confidence of the brand in the market.

The event was also to show Bosch as the business partner supporting in the development and growth of Ghana.

Mr Ofori said its aim was to provide professionals with tools that were easy to use and would increase productivity in their day-to-day activities.

“Our focus on the end-user has enabled us to provide a wide range of professional products best suited to meet the user needs, focusing on innovative solutions with safety features and supported with training and after-sales service outlets,” he noted.

“The tools are designed to assist the user to deliver high quality under extremely tight deadlines. At the same time, occupational health and safety plays an increasingly important role,” he added.

Commitment to Ghana

The Managing Director of Bosch Ghana, Mr Emmanuel Agyei, onr his part, said its products and services had been available in Ghana for many years through sales partners, and the official opening of its local office recently demonstrated its commitment to the country.

He said its projects in the country had contributed immensely to economic growth, and also fuelled the need to implement world-class infrastructure and provide housing to the growing population.

“In the past year, our power tools team in Ghana has established Bosch solution boxes at various construction sites and have engaged with partners on best-in-class solution fit power tools and also supported them with training and after-sales service,” he mentioned.
