Chowdeck partners with Oseikrom Aduanipa to boost local food delivery experience
Accra’s food lovers are set to benefit from improved access to traditional Ghanaian cuisine following a new exclusive partnership between on-demand delivery service Chowdeck and popular local restaurant, Oseikrom Aduanipa.
The collaboration, announced by Chowdeck on Thursday, aims to blend the restaurant’s authentic Ghanaian dishes with Chowdeck’s efficient logistics network to enhance food delivery services in Accra. Customers will now be able to enjoy favourites such as fufu, banku, omo tuo, kokonte and the restaurant’s signature fried rice ‘check check’ through the Chowdeck app.
“This partnership is a strong example of what Chowdeck is here to do — connect Ghanaians to the food they love in the most efficient way possible,” said Henry Whyte, Country Lead for Chowdeck Ghana. “We’re excited to work with a brand like Oseikrom Aduanipa that not only has deep local roots but also shares our ambition to reach more people through innovation.”
Chowdeck entered the Ghanaian market in May 2025 and has swiftly expanded its delivery footprint across key neighbourhoods in Accra, including Osu, Cantonments, East Legon, Airport, Spintex, Madina and Dansoman. In just three months, the platform has recorded over 1,000 customer orders daily, a growth milestone that Mr Whyte believes signals growing confidence in the company’s services.
“Reaching 1,000 daily orders so quickly shows the trust people place in our service, and this partnership expands our offerings and helps us build stronger connections with our customers,” he added.
The partnership also has a cultural dimension, as Chowdeck is set to support Oseikrom Aduanipa’s annual “Fufu Party on a Park” food festival this December. The event is expected to celebrate Accra’s vibrant food culture and bring together lovers of Ghanaian cuisine.
Prince Dweteh, Manager of Oseikrom Aduanipa, expressed enthusiasm about the deal. “We are truly excited to partner with Chowdeck. This collaboration allows us to serve our loyal customers more conveniently and introduce our authentic Ghanaian flavours to new audiences. We also look forward to our annual food festival this December, an event that will showcase Accra's culinary traditions, and we are pleased to have Chowdeck supporting this rich food culture in Ghana.”
Chowdeck, which offers delivery services for meals, groceries and pharmaceuticals, says it is committed to supporting local vendors and customers through innovative rewards and logistics programmes. The company’s “Rider Games” initiative, which includes cash bonuses and access to small loans, is one example of how it incentivises delivery riders to maintain reliability and speed.
The partnership with Oseikrom Aduanipa marks a key step in Chowdeck’s broader vision to establish a robust on-demand delivery ecosystem across Africa, starting with deepening its operations in Ghana.
