Delta Equipment introduces SEM Machines in Ghana
Delta Equipment Ghana Ltd, a company that deals in machines, has launched the Shandong Engineering Machinery (SEM) range of construction equipment in Ghana as part of long-term plans to assist the construction sub-sector to modernise their operations.

Delta Equipment already deals in a number of industrial and power generation machines, including construction equipment, power generation and industrial products.
The leading ones among them are Perkins Engines for power generation, industrial lights, Metso crushing plants and SEM machines.
The range of SEM equipment includes the Soil Compactor, Track Type Tractor, the Motor Grader and the SEM Wheel loader.
The Managing Director of Delta Equipment Ghana, Mr Emad Adeeb, said at the launch that the SEM machines, one of the leading products of Delta Equipment, offered a solution to the many challenges customers faced with their equipment and also provided them with the best after sales support.

SEM Co. Ltd of China has manufactured SEM-branded wheel loaders for over 50 years before becoming a wholly owned subsidiary of Caterpillar in 2008.
In 2014, the SEM Company transitioned to Caterpillar (Qingzhou) Ltd and continues to produce SEM-branded products.
The Sales and Operations Manager of Delta Equipment Ghana, Mr Andrews Sarpong, indicated that SEM was leveraging Caterpillar product development processes and legacy technology in providing quality ready-to-run SEM products.
As one important strategic utility product brand of Caterpillar, SEM has its own brand proposition, distribution channels, marketing strategy and product support which its partner Delta Equipment Ghana is providing.
