The Global Africa Trade Advisory Chamber (GATAC) has appointed Dr Michelle S. Moseley as its Ambassador and Executive Director for Canada, the Caribbean, and the Global Diaspora, in a move designed to strengthen trade relations, investment, and economic growth between Africa and its global communities.
Dr Moseley, a seasoned business strategist and founder of MSM Global Enterprises, brings a wealth of experience in business consulting, financial planning, executive coaching, and leadership development. Her organisation has been instrumental in helping individuals and enterprises achieve growth, financial stability, and personal fulfilment.
She is also the driving force behind initiatives such as the EVOLVE Seminars and the Savings and Investing Series in Guyana, which promote financial literacy and cross-sector collaboration.

Beyond her entrepreneurial ventures, Dr Moseley has held several leadership roles, including Deputy Chair of the African Caribbean Sustainability & Investment Summit (ACSIS) in London and Vice Chair of the World Guyanese Congress, positions that reflect her deep commitment to building sustainable partnerships and promoting economic empowerment across the African and Caribbean regions.
In her new role, Dr Moseley will lead efforts to deepen economic cooperation and trade between Africa and Diaspora communities, particularly in Canada and the Caribbean. She will also focus on creating new investment opportunities and supporting wider participation in the African Continental Free Trade Agreement (AfCFTA).
The President of GATAC, Mr Dominic Oduro-Antwi, described the appointment as strategic to the Chamber’s mission of connecting Africa with the rest of the world through trade and investment. “The Chamber serves as a great economic development vehicle bridging trade, business, and investment between Ghana, Africa, and the rest of the world,” he said.
Since its establishment in 2021, GATAC has emerged as a leading nonprofit organisation promoting trade, training, and investment partnerships across Africa and beyond. The Chamber currently boasts more than 250 registered members across 30 countries, representing a diverse network of business leaders and institutions.
With Dr Moseley leading its Diaspora operations, GATAC is poised to expand its footprint across continents by promoting collaboration, innovation, and sustainable growth that unites Africa with its global communities.
