Today, June 7, 2024, marks the 4th edition of Green Ghana Day and the nation has targeted to plant another 10 million seedlings.

Eastfield Foundation, the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) arm of Eastfield Farms in the Eastern region of Ghana, has over the years, supported the Green Ghana initiative which started in 2021 with the aim of planting trees across all parts of the country to save the environment which promotes our well-being.

The foundation introduced the "Grow to Consume" to schools and the piloted schools in the Eastern region have orange trees on their compound.

Eastfield Foundation's "Grow to Consume" was a follow-up to its flagship "One Student, One Orange" (Orange Wednesday) initiative to promote the well-being of students throughout vitality.

The foundation, with its partner, Orange Growers Association (OGA), is going all out to extend the "Grow to Consume" to other parts of the country as a sustainable contribution to the government's Green Ghana Day initiative.
