FBN Bank holds National Youth Conference
Financial giants FBNBank has demonstrated its commitment to the youth in the country after sponsoring the 2023 National Youth Conference that climaxed on September 3 at the University of Ghana’s Athletic Oval, Legon.
The conference, which was held on the theme: “Reformed Youth, Reformed Ghana,” was a development programme aimed at training the youth for the socio-economic development of Ghana.It was held in conjunction with the National Youth Authority and the International Youth Fellowship.

It was aimed at fostering the youth with strong hearts through leadership training that should be possessed as next generation leaders.
Crucial role of the youth
The Managing Director of the FBNBank, Victor Yaw Asante, speaking at the workshop, noted that the importance of the youth in the country cannot be discarded. “
The Bank recognises the role of the youth in nation building and supports this cause of the National Youth Authority and the International Youth Fellowship in the effort at equipping the youth with the needed skills that will help them develop their qualities.
For us, the youth of Ghana have the capabilities to compete with their peers across the globe if they are given the right training to develop themselves.
The youth, I believe must take advantage of the resources available regardless of the situation they find themselves.

Last year, the FBNBank delivered on its promise of focusing on the youth by organising a Students Fair in collaboration with the University of Ghana Careers and Counselling Centre on the Legon campus to deliver career guidance, entrepreneurship, mentorship, financial inclusion and placement opportunities for the students and youth generally.
This year’s youth conference gave participants the opportunity to communicate with one another beyond language and culture through the four days of mind lecture and various programmes in the best environment to help develop their qualities as true leaders in the global era for others.

Youth are the future
The CEO of the National Youth Authority, Pius Enam Hadzide praised the Ghanaian youth for the zeal and tenacity in this difficult times.

As a young and privileged person to have been given the task of overseeing the youth sector of the country, I am delighted to associate with such focus on the significant contribution of the youth to national and global development, as well as their general growth development and welfare.
