Fleet manager device on Ghanaian market

The Head of Vodafone Business Solutions, Mr Derek Appiah, said during the launch of the product in Accra that the company  was sure the introduction of the fleet manager would eliminate various challenges faced by companies with respect to the management of their fleet of cars and other mobile assets.

These challenges, he said, included driver idling, over-speeding, car hijacking, fuel and car theft, high operational costs, safety of people and property.

He also added that the service will improve productivity, reduce accidents, improve safety of passengers and reduce costs significantly.

According to him, not only will the fleet manager service ensure productivity but it will also help reduce accidents to a large extent, as vehicle owners would have better tracking reports of the operations of their vehicles.

“Our aim is to always empower our customers with products and services which will add value to the day to day operation of their businesses,” he expanded.

“This product is a testament to our promise to deliver unique customer solutions and to empower our customers to be fruitful in their businesses. We have listened to our customers, recognised their challenges and created this innovative solution to meet their needs,” he added.
