NLC stops Ghana Airport Company Workers Union from intended strike

The National Labour Commission has obtained an interlocutory injunction against the Ghana Airport Company Workers Union.
The Union says the current Managing Director of the company is incompetent and that they want him sacked.
It, therefore, threatened to embark on strike from Monday, October 19, 2020.

But the Accra High Court, (Industrial and Labour Division), presided over by Justice Kweku Ackaah Boafo said the strike is illegal.
It has therefore ordered that "the Union, Executive Officers, Members, Agents, Servants, Employees of the company are restrained from embarking on the intended illegal action of Monday, October 19, 2020".
