Hyundai unveils new Palisade --Donates PPEs to Korle bu

Hyundai Motor Company Limited has unveiled its new Hyundai Palisade 2020 onto the Ghanaian market.



The introduction of the Hyundai Palisade 2020 which has been upgraded to conform to current trends in the market was unveiled at the company’s head office in Accra.

For Hyundai Motor Company, this flagship midsize SUV and CUV is a completely new concept they have introduced.

Speaking at the unveiling ceremony, Head of Sales and Marketing, Mr Ganesh Y. Phadale, said the palisade has a high-tech convenience, safety features that offer an enjoyable, luxurious and a relaxed lifestyle for the driver.

He said it is also a big performer among middle class Ghanaians, urging the general public to purchase the cars as they are designed with economic factors in mind and are fuel efficient.

“The Palisade is an amazing innovation of Hyundai Motors Company Limited. As you know, Ghana has a large market so we are replacing Grand Santa Fe with the Palisade.

“It is a 3.8 engine and has a very high-quality offering, is fuel-efficient, economical, and built with a lot of enhanced safety features. It will also really give tough competition to our competitors because it meets the expectations of today’s knowledgeable, demanding and discerning customers. The price of the car is USD $70,000,” he said.

Donates PPEs to Korle bu

At the same event, Hyundai also donated some PPEs to the Korle bu Teaching Hospital.

The donation, worth USD US$50,000 included 15,000 face masks and 1,000 protective suits.

The donation is part of Hyundai’s commitment to support countries who are in need in this COVID 19 period.

In recent weeks, the company has also helped those in need around the world through donations and contributing medical equipment and personal protection items.

Vice President, Head of Hyundai Motor Company Middle East & Africa HQs Bang Sun Jeong, said “caring for humanity has always been at the heart of Hyundai’s vision and having assisted those in need in countries around the world, we are proud to expand our support to countries across the Middle East and Africa region that have been hardest hit by the pandemic.

“The contributions of personal protection items are another step forward of making a positive difference and we believe if we work together, we can overcome anything.

“We hope this pandemic can soon come to an end and we can help people get back to their daily lives,” he stated.
