KRIF Ghana appreciates loyal customers at awards ceremony
The Executive Chairman of KRIF Ghana Ltd, Rev. Kennedy Okosun, has expressed profound gratitude to customers, acknowledging them as the reason for KRIF Ghana's existence.
He said their loyalty, feedback and trust had driven the company's growth and improvement over the last 39 years.
Rev. Okosun also emphasised the importance of partnerships in business success, highlighting that KRIF Ghana's strength is built on long-standing collaborations, especially with DURABLE of Germany.
"Our customers, whom we honour today with these awards, are the reason KRIF Ghana exists. Your loyalty has sustained us, your feedback has improved us, and your trust has motivated us to do more. To each award recipient, I say congratulations and thank you for believing in us," he said.
"To our partners, particularly our German friends from DURABLE Hunke & Jocheim GmbH of Germany, and indeed all the international brands we represent - Olympia, Herlitz, Pelikan, Fellowes, Uchida, and more - thank you for trusting KRIF Ghana to carry your name and products. We are proud to be your bridge into Ghana and Africa."
Event
Rev. Okosun made these remarks at the KRIF Customer Awards and Product Exhibition in Accra last Tuesday.
The awards programme was aimed at recognising long-standing clients who have trusted Krif Ghana for their office equipment needs.
The event underscored the company’s emphasis on customer satisfaction and retention as a pillar of its business model. It was held on the theme: "Honouring Loyalty, Appreciating You."
Awards were presented to organisations and individuals for their loyalty and dedication to the growth of the company over the years.
Some of the organisations were HP Fresh and Dry Fruits Ltd, Safe Water Network, PKF Ghana Ltd, Apex Insurance, Zenith Bank PLC, Golden Empire Legacy, Guarantee Trust Bank Ltd, Phoenix Insurance, Arocha Ghana, Vanguard Life Assurance and West Coast Gas Ghana, among others
Consumer Protection Act
The ceremony also featured a product exhibition fair, where top-notch quality products, including money counting machines, security safes, binding and laminating machines, and assorted stationery items, were sold at discounted prices.
Chief Operating Officer of McDan Group, Lady Lizzie Kuagbedzi, voiced support for the urgent passage of the Consumer Protection Act, emphasising its importance in ensuring accountability and bridging regulatory gaps.
She also highlighted government efforts, such as the Ghana Standards Authority deploying inspectors to monitor market compliance and the push for public institutions to adopt customer satisfaction surveys.
While commending these initiatives, she stressed that it is the responsibility of businesses to build on this foundation and uphold high-quality standards in Ghana.
"At McDan Group, we believe that true business success is not measured by product lines, revenues, or market share. It is measured by how customers feel about doing business with you. It's the customer that keeps your business running."
"It is easy to focus on what we sell, or the services that we provide, but real growth happens when we focus on how we sell. The reality is that customer service in Ghana is so slow in intervention, and there is a dear need for businesses to intentionally focus on what really matters," she said.
Long-standing partnership
Export Area Manager at DURABLE Hunke & Jochheim GmbH, Beate Rauls, expressed her delight in participating in the event in Ghana, praising the long-standing partnership with KRIF Ghana Limited, their exclusive distributor for nearly 15 years.
Speaking via Zoom from Germany, she highlighted the importance of connecting with customers and partners, sharing ideas, and exploring mutual growth opportunities.
She thanked the KRIF Ghana leadership for organising the event and emphasised the value of collaboration, wishing all attendees a productive and engaging experience.
"I wish all of us an interesting and productive day, filled with interesting conversations, valuable connections and new opportunities," she said.
