Nationwide Mutual Healthcare (NMH) has expressed its commitment to the provision of quality healthcare in the country.
Nationwide is one of the oldest private health insurance schemes in Ghana with over ten years industry experience and the only private health insurance scheme, which is promoted by the Society of Private Medical and Dental Practitioners (SPMDP).
NMH’s scheme is managed by Mutual Healthcare Limited (MHL) a Health Maintenance Organization with vast actuarial skills, financial, information and communication technology, management and medical expertise, experience and resources, which has been contracted to manage the scheme.

Products and services
Several products and services are offered by NMH, which is tailored made to meet the needs of members and prospective members.
These products comprise: Corporate health insurance, Family health insurance, international health insurance, referrals to South Africa and India, Third party administration. Currently, NMH has introduced, VIP care a corporate health insurance plan, which puts healthcare on your speed dial.
The corporate health insurance plan is targeted at corporate entities, institutions and organised groups who wish to enroll their employees and dependants onto the scheme. Then the family health plan is for members who wish to enroll onto the scheme as family units.
The scheme also offers international health insurance for corporate bodies and individuals who may need healthcare services when they travel abroad. This service is provided through collaboration with Oracle Med, a reputable international health insurance company based in South Africa.
NMH currently provides services to over fifty five thousand members throughout the country.
