Saftech to brand Metro buses
Saftech Limited, a local distributor of G’FIVE mobile phones and products, has begun a process of branding the buses of the Metro Mass Transit to make them more attractive.
The move, according to the General Manager of the company, Mr Menthouf Matty Khan, forms part of the company’s corporate social responsibility.
He explained that although the branding was part of advertising the company and its products, the overriding concern was to beautify the buses in order to make them more attractive to its patrons.
Mr Khan, an expatriate who currently identifies himself with Ghana and the prevailing economic mix, said the company had adopted Ghana as its home in view of the support it enjoyed from the people.
Putting smiles on Ghanaian faces
“We believe that our company has a lasting relationship with the people of Ghana and for that matter we will try to do whatever we can also do to put smiles on the faces of the Ghanaian people,” he told the Daily Graphic.
Mr Khan said that the competition in the mobile telecommunications industry of Ghana was very keen but G’Five had also penetrated the market with its own unique and easily identifiable qualities that made it outstanding.
“Yes, the competition in the market is keen but we are doing our best. Within the next three months, we will head for another level but we need the full support of all Ghanaians,” he said.
He announced that the company had set up a service centre to provide technical support for its customers who might encounter challenges with the products they purchased.
The service centre, located at Osu near Photo Club, he said, would render services to customers free of charge.
Lack of expertise
He said the lack of proper expertise in mobile repair works had led to a situation where people left their damaged phones with repairers and did not go back for them or abandoned them at home.
The centre, he said, had adequate parts should any customer require a replacement of a damaged component of the product.
“Ghanaians deserve better. They deserve mobile manufacturers and companies who have their interest at heart,” Mr Matty said.
