Effort to engage stakeholders

The Group Head of Marketing and Corporate Affairs at Hollard Ghana, Cynthia Ofori-Dwumfuo, who made this known in an interview with the media in Accra, said this was another activity in the company’s effort to engage with various stakeholders on the importance of insurance.

“At Hollard, we understand that increasing the penetration of insurance will take a concerted effort engaging stakeholder groups on the benefits of insurance.

"Being an unconventional company with a purpose to create and secure better futures we believe it’s important to shed the formality when it comes to ensuring the wellbeing of people.

"In this case, we are excited to engage the Ahaspora community on that thorny issue of financial security.

"For many young professionals’, financial security may not look immediately attainable, but this panel will reveal just how realistic it is, if done right. We hope members will leave with financial planning knowledge while organically becoming advocates for insurance,” she said.

Ms Ofori-Dwumfuo stated that Ahaspora was a network of Ghanaian returnee professionals working to use their knowledge, skills, and resources to make Ghana a better place to live.

Their vision is to promote Brain Gain by providing a support system for Ghanaian professionals and like-minded individuals who are thinking about or have returned home, bridging the gap between the Diaspora and those who have returned.

“As such, we are excited to partner with Hollard Insurance on such a crucial topic – demystifying financial investments.

“In addition to the panel discussion, attendees will have the opportunity to network with industry experts and like-minded individuals. We are grateful to Hollard Insurance for their support and look forward to continued collaborations.”
