Starbow introduces early morning flights on Kumasi-Accra route

Domestic Airline, Starbow, has commenced early morning flights on its Accra-Kumasi and Kumasi-Accra routes.

The airline’s first flight will now depart from Kumasi at 07:35 a.m. and arrive in Accra at 8:15 a.m., while passengers from Accra will have the opportunity to leave at 6:25 a.m. and arrive in Kumasi at 7:05am.

A statement issued by the company explained that the early morning flight was to give both customers and airline passengers the opportunity to meet their early morning obligations in both Accra and Kumasi and return to their destinations quickly.

“Starbow is pleased to inform all its passengers and the general public that it has introduced an early morning Kumasi-Accra-Kumasi flight times. So, wondering how to honour your appointments and meetings early in Accra, your surest bet is Starbow,” the statement said.

It added that “most of the passengers complained about being late for their appointments, court proceedings, medical meetings and others, so we decided to offer them the convenience of coming in early and going back on time,” the statement said.

Prior to the introduction of the new flight times, the airline was operating on the Accra-Kumasi route at 8:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m., 2:00 p.m., 4:00 p.m. weekly and on Fridays and Sundays, operated its late flight at 6:10 p.m.

On the Kumasi-Accra route, Starbow was flying at 10:15 a.m., 1:00 p.m., 3:15 p.m., 5:45 p.m. and 8:25 p.m. on Fridays and Sundays.

The new flight will, therefore, give the opportunity for people wanting to transact business in any of the two regions to do so conveniently.

“People want to come in early and leave early as well. What we are offering with our early morning flights is convenience in travelling for both our passengers and other airline users to enable them to meet their early morning obligations,” it said.
