TBSC: University of Ghana, Accra Tech Univ to compete for Southeast zonal champion
Two schools, the University of Ghana (UG) and the Accra Technical University (ATU) have qualified for the final of the Southeast Zonal championship of the Version 4.0 of the Tertiary Business Sense Challenge (TBSC).
In Thurday’s contest for the zone, the first showdown for the day saw UG being paired with the UPSA.
At the end of the contest, UG won with 66 points as against the 16 points garnered by UPSA, to book a slot in the zonal final of the competition.

The second contest for the day was between the ATU and the Dominion University College.
In that contest, the ATU scored 35 points, while the Dominion University College had 13.
Each of the participating schools demonstrated a lot of knowledge in the area of business and finance, as well as the economy but at the end, it was UG and ATU that exhibited more knowledge in the subject areas, hence their win.
It is expected that the showdown Friday at the GNAT Heights in Accra, venue for the competition, will be filled to capacity with students from both schools to cheer their contestants on to victory.

The Version 4.0 of the TBSC is on the theme: The Role of Business Students in Shaping National Economic Discourse”.
The event, which has grown to become one of the most sought-after competition among tertiary business schools in the country, is meant to engender a healthy competition among the various tertiary business schools across the country.

It is also meant to enable students to keep abreast of the developments within the business industry and the economy as a wholem, so they can make informed decisions in the near future.
