E-commerce expo takes off Thursday
This year’s Ghana’s e-commerce expo will take place on Thursday, October 27 and Friday, October 28 at the Alisa Hotel in Accra.
The event on the theme: “Transforming Ghana’s Online Business through Technology, Innovation and Opportunity”, is meant to showcase Ghana’s major advances in information, communication and technology (ICT).

Over 50 exhibitors and 4,000 visitors are expected to take part in the two-day event.
Exhibiting companies include ICT startups, e-commerce companies, online payment providers, e-banking service providers, telecommunications companies.
The event will provide industry players in e-commerce the platform to network, share ideas, experiences and information and discuss Ghana’s online businesses and financial inclusion, digital advertising and social media. It will also focus on the impact of cybercrime on e-commerce in Ghana.
Organisers are promising a fun-filled event this year with the provision of free access to internet by MainOne, one of the leading connectivity and data solution providers in the country.
