Health is wealth
The recent health scare of actor Prince Yawson aka Waakye where he suffered a mild heart attack should serve as a wake-up call for everyone.
Thankfully, Waakye is said to be recovering and in good health but the incident should be a warning to all of us not to take our health for granted if we wish to continue going about our daily activities effectively. Our message is not just for those who are advanced in age but to the young as well.

As the saying goes, health is wealth and as such, we have to bear in mind that despite all the efforts we put into hustling and making money, there is no point if we are not healthy enough to enjoy the fruits of our labour.
Entertainers are even more at risk due to their lifestyle and demands from the industry within which they operate. Due to the erratic nature of filming and recording, people in the creative sector sometimes find it hard to make time to look out for themselves. However, it is important that entertainers make time out of their schedules to exercise regularly, eat right and visit their doctors for routine check-ups.
It has been scientifically proven that diseases and other health conditions are much better managed when they are detected early as opposed to waiting for these conditions to become obvious first. Showbiz wishes Waakye good health and prays everyone involved in one way or the other in the creative sector remains in good health for years to come.
