MUSIGA honours Anas
The acting MUSIGA President, Bessa Simons, said at the function that the decision to present the Anti-Corruption Star citation to Anas was based on his untiring work as an anti-corruption crusader.
“Your work as an anti-corruption crusader is worthy of commendation hence the decision by the union’s project management team to present you with this citation to encourage you to continue your anti-corruption crusade,” the MUSIGA official said.

Anas thanked MUSIGA for the honour done him. An associate of his, Cecil Garbrah, also commended the union for their decision to embark on an anti-corruption crusade. He urged musicians to use their works to encourage attitudinal changes for the betterment of our society.
Anas is the third recipient of the MUSIGA Anti-Corruption Star citation. The previous two were Ace Ankomah, a lawyer and Kwami Sefa Kayi, a broadcaster.
The presentations to the three personalities have been part of MUSIGA’s anti-corruption crusade titled: “The Role of Music in the Implementation of the National Anti-Corruption Plan (NACAP).” The campaign is supported by STAR-Ghana.
Meanwhile, MUSIGA has put out a song called My Ghana to help boost its anti-corruption campaign. Artistes featured on the song include EL, Knii Lante, Cina Soul and Okyeame Kwame.
