Ben Brako, Cecilia Marfo for ‘Superwoman’ show

Sunday, May 11, is Mother’s Day and a variety of programmes are being organised across the country to mark the day.
In Accra, one of the stand-out events to celebrate Mother’s Day is the “Jandel Superwoman” show slated for May 11 at the Event Haven at the Trade Fair Centre, La, in Accra from 3.00pm. Jandel Limited asked the public to submit entries on the women they consider super in their lives. The nominated person could be a mother, sister, wife or girlfriend.
Nominations flooded the Jandel office but only five women have been shortlisted for the final showdown on May 11. One of them will become the Jandel Superwoman for 2014. The rest will be honoured as the Jandel Awesome Women.
A Jandel Limited source pointed out to Daily Graphic that it would also be a night of impressive music with performers like Ben Brako, Bisa Kdei, Cecilia Marfo and the El Dunamis Choir in action.
“We invite everyone to come on board and let us honour the superwomen in our lives,” the Jandel source said.
Tickes for the show are available at Ghc 60 single and GHc 100 for a couple at the Jandel office at the Trade Fair and at Joy FM.
