#brownpaperbag: Single re-ignites comparisons between Sarkodie and M.anifest
Rapper Sarkodie has set tongues wagging after dropping a single titled Brown Paper Bag which features fellow rapper M.anifest.
The rap song's dominant theme is about African unity but it also delves into other subjects including colonialism, slavery, neo-colonialism, racism, pollution, corrupt leaders, Ghana Beyond Aid and religion.
However, the inadvertently reopened the debate about who is the better rapper with some Twitter users focusing on which rapper had the best verse.

Sarkodie has already taken to Twitter to admonish fans to focus on the message in the song.
He posted: "I understand Rap fans feeling the need to rate bars and lyrics on this record but on God this ain’t about all of that ... we in serious times and the message is very important... big up @manifestive #BrownPaperBag 🙏🏿 ".

Past beef
It will be recalled that M.anifest and Sarkodie were involved in perhaps the biggest rap beef the country has ever witnessed in 2016.
M.anifest, in his ‘godMC’ track, took digs at Sarkodie after he released his ‘Bossy’ song. Sarkodie also quickly replied M.anifest in his ‘Kanta’ track.
