Danso Abiam sings Gye Yen So

In 2009, when highlife artiste, Danso Abiam, released his song Belly Dance (Ghanaian Ladies) which featured Sarkodie, the song faced stiff competition from other hits such as Okyeame Kwame’s Woso, Praye’s Angelina, Samini’s Where My Baby Dey and Sarkodie’s Baby to earn a place on the airwaves.

And although he released other songs like One and Only, Tupus, Comfort, O Wind Me, Farmer and Ale Pati in the subsequent years, Danso Abiam was not able to rival the impact he made with his first single.

Now Danso Abiam is looking forward to bounce back with his latest song, Gye Yen So, which was released last Friday.
On Gye Yen So, Danso asks God to respond quickly to his prayers. According to him, life has become so difficult that he cannot afford a three -square meal hence, his decision to depend on God for solutions to his problems.

He explains that but for God, no one can bring him out of his misery after several disappoints from family and friends.
In an interview with Showbiz, Danso Abiam who has worked with artistes like Keche, Sarkodie, Stay Jay, Bradez, Guru among others said he intends to push his latest song to make it very popular.

Talking about why he has been silent for some time now, he said there was the need to take time off to study the music terrain “I am ready for the competition now”, he said.

Real name, David Danso Amofa, Danso Abiam is signed onto Kosante Music Production and has recorded a lot of songs for his upcoming album which he intends to release by the end of the year.
