On Reggae Is Love, Ages Africa explores the “culture of Reggae music” in preaching love and unity among people. For him, the roots of reggae championed by Haile Sellasie, was for societal change and that is what his proteges should work towards.

He takes the love path on When Our Love Runs Low and Language of Our Heart to sing about love and the “beautiful feelings” that come with it.

Mama Cares and Beautiful talks about the love of mothers and it is to appreciate their works in society which gets Ages Africa to sing the praises of mothers whose toils have helped to raise many leaders in various societies.

In general, the album tries to paint the beauty and importance of love across the world.

“Music is a respected discipline and I treat it as such. I’m committed to using music to reach and touch the hearts of many people in Africa,” he told Showbiz last week Thursday.

A graduate of the Ghana Telecom University College, Ages Africa, real name, Awoonor W.G Selorm, is a descendant of the great Ghanaian poet, Kofi Awoonor.

Ages Africa who is also a poet said that his music is greatly influenced by the traditional setting he found himself when growing up.

That, he said, impacted his way of life and the kind of music and poems he does as well. He also plays the piano and guitar.
