AfricaMagic celebrates 10 Years with ‘Be On Africa’

Over the years, AfricaMagic has become the home of the best African productions and dedicated to African programming from soaps and drama, series to lifestyle shows, documentaries and movies.
Launched in 2003, AfricaMagic was initially one general entertainment television channel dedicated to content made in Africa by Africans for Africans.

In just under a decade, that pioneering first channel has grown and evolved into a series of AfricaMagic branded channels transforming AfricaMagic from a single TV channel into a multi-channel brand.

As part of its tenth anniversary celebration in December this year, AfricaMagic has launched a reality competition which will see two active DStv subscribers feature alongside Ghanaian actor, Majid Michel and another Nollywood star in a new AfricaMagic movie.

The competition is open to active DStv subscribers on all bouquets and runs from now till the  November 29, 2013. Two winners, a male and female, will be announced on December 6, 2013 at the AfricaMagic 10th birthday bash in Lagos, Nigeria, and the film will be shot in Lagos from  January 1 to March 2014.

To enter the competition, subscribers are to record a short video "performance", not bigger than 15MB, of why they think they should appear in the AfricaMagic film and submit at www.africamgic.tv.
