Ajuma makes bold statement with ‘Suro Nipa’

In a very competitive music industry where many musicians understand the space, it will only do an up and coming artiste a great disservice not to impress with their first song.

Budding Afrobeats artiste, Ajuma understands the assignment and intends to make a bold statement with his maiden song, Suro Nipa, set for release on Saturday, May 24.

Suro Nipa, which translates into ‘Fear humans’ will be released under Dream City Entertainment.

The song offers a raw, emotional journey into the realities of trust and betrayal, all wrapped in irresistible Afrobeats rhythms.

Born Iddrisu Baba Ali, Ajuma hails from Boadua-Akwatia in the Eastern Region and he is poised to transform his personal experiences into universal anthems.

He says his style of music is influenced by Black Sherif and Daddy Lumba, delivering both spiritual depth and street-smart wisdom.

“Suro Nipa" speaks to anyone who's ever felt let down but has found the strength to keep moving. It tells a universal story of betrayal, pain, and caution—a message rooted in real-life experience that Ajuma believes many will relate to.

"I’ve seen people I trusted change on me. This song is for the ones who’ve been hurt but are still standing," he says.

Upon its release, the song will be available on all major streaming platforms including Spotify and YouTube.
