Police arrest man over alleged killing of 56-year-old at Suhum farm linked to wife’s suspected affair
The Ghana Police Service has arrested a man in connection with the killing of a 56-year-old at a farm near Obomofodensua in the Suhum Municipality of the Eastern Region.
The deceased, identified as Enoch Obiri, was found with multiple stab wounds at Soronko Farms.
The suspect, Eric Kenny, is in police custody, assisting with investigations.
According to the police, the incident occurred on February 13, 2026, when Mr Obiri sustained stab wounds to his left arm and abdomen at the farm.
Preliminary investigations indicate that Kenny had earlier threatened the deceased on several occasions.
Police say the threats were linked to a suspected relationship between Mr Obiri and Kenny’s wife.
Investigators also say Kenny was seen in the area on the day of the incident, a detail they believe places him at the scene.
The police announced Kenny’s arrest on March 31, 2026, through a post on its Facebook page.
He remains in custody and will be put before court, the police said.
