All set for ‘Freedom Concert’

American gospel star, Fred Hammond arrived in Accra last Thursday night with his 10-member band to perform at the Freedom Concert scheduled for  5.00 p.m. tonight, March 15 at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Also billed to share the word of God through their music at the show are top Ghanaian gospel acts,  Cwesi Oteng, Mary Ghansah, Joe Mettle, Ohemaa Mercy, Francis Amo and Soul Winners. 

The Ghanaian stars will be backed by  the formidable PL Crew led on electric bass by Sanaa Opoku Agyemang. Other members of the band are  Emmanuel Bludo (drums), Patrick Ofori Dankwa (keyboards) and Enoch Owuraku Kissi (guitar). Additional hands are brought on board when necessary.

The headline performer, Fred Hammond is a talented songwriter, producer, arranger, bassist and vocalist and a major name on the international gospel music circuit. 

He is renowned for his dynamic, contemporary approach to gospel music and the audience should be in for a real treat at the Accra Sports Stadium tonight.

The Freedom Concert is being organised by the Springs of Joy Ministry.
