And the RTP award winners are....

The third edition of the Radio and Television Personality awards came off last Thursday at the Accra International Conference Centre but not without a lot of “wahala”.

Kwami Sefa Kayi of Peace FM was awarded the overall Radio and Television Personality of the Year 2013 making it the third consecutive time that he has received that award.

He also won the Radio Morning Show Host of the Year while his show, Kokrokoo won the Radio Programme of the Year 2013.

The other winners on the night were:

• Radio Gospel Show Host of the Year – Agyeman Prempeh, Rainbow Radio
• Radio Entertainment Talk Show Host of the Year – Nii Ayi Tagoe, Joy FM
• Radio Newscaster of the Year (English) – Evans Mensah, Joy FM
• Radio Talk Show Host of the Year – Alhassan Suhuini, Radio Gold
• Radio Sports Show of the Year – Peace Power Sports, Peace FM
• TV Newscaster of the Year (Female Category) – Naa Kwaley Quartey, Metro TV
• TV Sports Host of the Year – Kwabena Yeboah, GTV
• TV Development Show Host of the Year – Gifty Anti, The Standpoint, GTV
• Radio Development Show Host of the Year – Maa Efia Konadu, Peace FM
• Radio News Programme of the Year – Eye Witness News, Citi FM
