Another 5th August for Lyrical Joe’s birthday
SINCE 2017, award winning rapper, Lyrical Joe who celebrates his birthday on August 5 has been treating hard core rap fans and his followers to an anniversary gift by dropping a single 5th August every year.

So on Saturday, August 5, 2023, the 2022 VGMA Best Rap Performance winner fulfilled the annual ritual when he dropped the seventh version of 5th August to mark his birthday.
The latest piece comes after Lyrical Joe, real name, Joseph Gamor released his debut Photo album in March this year. And to whet the appetite of fans, he came out with Road to 5th August last month.
As always, Lyrical Joe uses the platform to talk about his blessings and challenges as an artiste working his way to the top rung of the music ladder.
In the latest edition of 5th August, the Self rapper describes God as his ‘Free Mason’ who has been the secret of his success and how he doesn’t care about those who want to see him “blind lyrically”.
In 24 hours of its release, 5th August had garnered over 50, 000 views with positive commentaries on Sunday, August 6.
Some of the commentaries read: “You are unique and you are building your LEGACY at this same time. Few years to come, The world will point at you as one of the BEST RAPPER FROM AFRICA who made it to the international market,” Enumlige studios wrote.
In the words of Kitoe Ebenezer, “This guy’s punches in English is so deep that sometimes when you try to bring it down in our native language it looks cumbersome. We all know our rappers using Twi punches clear and simpler.

At the launch of his maiden 15-track Photo album a few months aog, Lyrical Joe said it “painted a vivid image of everywhere he has been and everything he has been through including the bad, the worse, the good, and the best of his life.”
Some of the songs on the album include Two Eagles, Hustle & Ambition, 2 Bottles, Me to Me, See Size, Judas, Hmmhm, Flex and Amen.
