The event is being organised by Wilderness and CEO, Henry Mawuli Adobor, explained the choice of the unusual name, “We came up with Apocalypse because we realised parties were becoming monotonous with the same elements every time; dancing, drinking and meeting friends.

“So we are adding other things to this party like great DJs and different zones where people can connect with their inner selves and do the things they’ve always wanted to do,” he said.

He added that, “After an Apocalypse happens, nothing happens again. It’s basically the end. So, when Apocalypse happens, it’s something that will stick in the minds of everyone for a very long time.

“We are expecting partygoers; those who like to have real fun and those who want to have an unforgettable experience.”

A number of celebrities are also expected to pass through the Apocalyse party. According to the organisers, the experience will start right from a tunnel which will be segregated for boys and the other for girls.

The plan is for a boy and a girl to meet at the end of the tunnel, for the first opportunity to make a move. There will also be exciting places like the ‘Photo Booth’,  ‘Dare Room’, ‘Speed Dating Room’, ‘Shisha Zone’, ‘Lovers’ Nest’, and sexy girls called Cupids whose main job on the night will be to cuff single people together.

The jam is powered by Close Up and supported by Hypenet.
