April Fool Comedy and Poetry Night on Saturday

Focuz Afriq Media is set to host the 2026 edition of its April Fool Comedy and Poetry Night on Saturday, April 25, at the Alisa Hotel.

The event, which starts at 7 p.m. blends stand-up comedy with spoken word. The show has grown into one of the company’s flagship entertainment events, known for its lively atmosphere and strong audience appeal. 

Over the years, it has attracted impressive crowds and featured notable acts such as Jacinta Ocansey, Lekzy Decomic, Shegelabobor, Parrot Mouth, Ajeezay, DKB, and Comedian Waris, cementing its reputation as a well-curated night of live entertainment.

This year’s lineup includes Jeneral Ntatia, Okokobioko, Hogan, Papayaw Ataamle, Kwame Obed, Khemikal, and Jeffrey Nortey, with spoken word performances from Poet Timmy.

According to organisers, the 2026 edition celebrates a decade of delivering premium laughter, with promises to maintain its signature blend of humour, creativity, and high-quality production.

 Beyond the performances, the event continues to serve as a social and networking platform for guests and corporate partners.
