Baci, Gabriela for JHR Christmas Concert

Ghana’s Most Beautiful Season VIII winner, Baciara Bentie and winner of My Area Code, Gabriela Kumi are set to perform at the Annual Carols Festival of Journalists for Human Rights (JHR), African University College of Communications (AUCC) Chapter in Accra.

The event, scheduled to take place on Wednesday, December 21 would see performances from the Dean of the Communication School, Prof Abeiku Blankson, the Dean of Students’ Affair, Mr Franklin Amewuga, the club’s patron, Mr Samuel Ato Afful and the AUCC Christian Fellowship Choir.

In an interview with the Graphic Showbiz, President of JHR AUCC Chapter, Niibi Nii Martey Botchway Benjamin said he is optimistic that the event would bring about the true meaning of Christmas.

 “Christmas is a period to show love and affection towards the vulnerable in society, while emulating Jesus Christ.

“This year’s edition promises a package of surprises for patrons”, he said.

JHR AUCC Chapter is a Human Rights Advocacy Club on the campuses of AUCC that seeks to advance the cause of its mother organisation in Canada by empowering its members to stand up, speak up and fight for the rights of others.
