Christians can listen to secular songs– Daughters of Glorious Jesus
While many gospel musicians believe that secular music corrupts good values and should be avoided by Christians, the acclaimed gospel trio Daughters of Glorious Jesus hold a different opinion.
The trio, Cynthia Appiadu, Edna Sarpong, and Monica Owusu Ansah, urged Christians to listen to secular music if the lyrics would have a positive impact on them.

"God is the source of talent. You may listen to secular music as a Christian; even the lyrics might move you and inspire you to act morally. The present comes from God. I appreciate Amakye Dede's songs, and I like him, said Edna, a member of the group. This in no way qualifies me as an unbeliever. You shouldn't assess someone's viewpoint and decide whether or not they are a Christian. The fact that I have Amakye reiterating her argument, another member of the group Monica Owusu Ansah added that she and her husbnd were Kojo Antwi fans and it listening to his songs does not take away anything from them
"A few of Kojo Antwi's songs offer sound advice. He sings romantic music. Isn't it nice to listen to some of those songs with your hubby if you're married? Kojo Antwi attends church as well, Mrs. Owusu Ansah noted.
The gospel group also urged Christians to exercise cautious when listening to any musical genre that can influence their moral behavior.
