Daughters launch ABBA Father album

Their last album was nearly four years ago and it didn’t make as much as impact but veteran Gospel group, Daughters of Glorious Jesus is hoping that their latest, titled ABBA Father will bring back their glory.

ABBA Father was launched last Sunday at the Fiesta Royale Hotel and it was a delight to see the trio, Cynthia Appiadu, Edna Sarpong and Monica Owusu Ansah, perform songs from their big repertoire.

The title of the album, ABBA Father, according to Daughters, was motivated by their personal stories and how they want to reach out to the downtrodden with messages of hope.

They also disclosed that the album is dedicated to orphans and noted that proceeds from sales of the album will be channeled into solving some of the problems at the Children’s ward at the 37 Military Hospital.

“Proceeds from every album of ours have been channeled into a social cause and this year, we want to help improve the health facilities in the country and the children’s ward of 37 Military hospital is our target,” they said.

Daughters of Glorious Jesus also disclosed that they would be touring some parts of the country to promote their new album from next year.
