“I will start from East Legon, go through 37 and then head to the Central Business District,” she told Showbiz in a chat last Tuesday.

While at it, Yvonne and her team, made up of her sisters Roseline and Elizabeth, actress Luckie Lawson and a few others will give the children food, drinks, blankets, slippers, towels, deodorants, hand sanitisers, pens and pencils among other things.

“We will take the opportunity to sensitise them on cleanliness and its importance, hopefully they will take good hygyiene seriously and this will go a long way to help them now and in the future,” Yvonne said.

The Contract actress said she has always loved the idea of giving back to society and she sees Christmas as an appropriate time to give to the underpriviledged.

“These children may not have any presents during this season of giving so it is my own small way of making them feel loved,” she added.

That aside, Yvonne said she intends to take about three to five of these street children to school and see them reach the highest level.

“I would really appreciate it if I get sponsorship to enable me carry out this project, with all the charity work I do, I usually sponsor it myself but it would help if some sponsorship came my way to help put these children in school,” she said.

She used the opportunity to thank Ghandour Cosmetics for supporting her Christmas Day project by providing deodorants and hand sanitisers.
