The 4:00 pm concert which admission is free, is expected to feature other gospel artistes such as Denzel Agyeman Prempeh, Pastor Isaiah Fosu- Kwakye, Kofi Karikari, Pastor Jim Emmit Konadu, Prince Tuffour of Mentor fame and young contemporary gospel artiste, Kingz Kid.

Apart from these artistes, the concert will also be graced with music performance from legendary gospel artiste, Yaw Sarpong and his Asomafour band who have been absent on the music scene for some years now.

Destiny Nation, which was formed by Barima Appiah Korang and popular sound engineer and producer, David Kojo Kyei aka Kaywa will use the occasion to record a live worship album and also launch the “HarvestApp”, a software application to aid evangelism, discipleship and to monitor new converts as well.

In an interview with the Showbiz on Tuesday, Mercy Amoo-Darku, who spoke on behalf of the group, said the formation of Destiny Nation is to champion the moral grooming of the Christian youth which has been long overdue.

“If you look at the composition of the group, you will notice that it is made up of established solo artistes who have joined forces together to achieve a common goal and we think music is one of the platforms we can use to bring the youth together and also talk about the saving power of God.

“We also want to use the platform to recruit volunteers and partners who will work with us to embark on various forms of outreach,’’ she added.
