DJ Mensah honoured as 'Most Innovative DJ of the Year'
Renowned Ghanaian disc jockey, Michael Ayenu Mensah, popularly known as DJ Mensah, has been named the 'Most Innovative DJ of the Year' at the 2025 Executive Entrepreneurs and Business Honors.
The accolade was presented at a grand ceremony in Accra on Friday, March 28, celebrating individuals who have excelled in their respective fields.
A citation accompanying the honour acknowledged DJ Mensah's dedication and ingenuity within the entertainment industry. It read: "You are a proof that good things come to those who are willing to sacrifice to reach a worthwhile goal, indeed you are an icon worth emulating."
As a key figure in Ghana’s entertainment landscape, DJ Mensah has been instrumental in curating some of the country's most innovative music events. He is the mastermind behind the annual Eat Drink Music (EDM) festival and the popular weekly event, 'Simply Irresistible' at Soho Accra. Beyond his solo ventures, DJ Mensah serves as the official DJ for multiple award-winning Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie, further cementing his influence in the music industry.
Beyond his contributions to entertainment, DJ Mensah has demonstrated a strong commitment to philanthropy through his DJ Mensah Foundation, positively impacting communities and supporting various social causes.
The Executive Entrepreneurs and Business Honors is an annual initiative that recognises outstanding professionals across diverse sectors, including food, entertainment, entrepreneurship, fintech, and fashion.
